Skateboarding suggestions pleazzzzze!!!!!!!?

I started skateboarding since June and I can hardly pop a good high ollie. I suck, but i practice whenever i can but i hate the weather here in Florida because it's soooooooo hot. Um... do you have any suggestions like how to do tricks and anything about skateboarding that might help me get better? Thank u so much!!!!!!!♥
