Projectile Motion Problems?

When dealing with projectile motion you must split the problem up into components. So take the x and y component of the initial velocity (v_x = 180*cos(40), etc.). Then use your basic kinematic equations, in each direction separately, to determine what you want to know. Remember that uming no air resistance there is only acceleration in the y direction, so this will determine how long the ball is in the air. These kinds of problems really are the easiest physics you will find.
