Is LaVeyan Satanism a good religious choice?

First, this is just a hypothetical. Do notice, thumpers, that I did NOT state my religious affiliation or lack thereof. What I am asking, is: Can LaVeyan Satanism be a responsible and ethical "religion" which promotes human rights?
