Will a VCH heal closed if remove also how painfull is it to have a tattoo removed?

I got a VCH and a heart tattoo with hubbys name under it as a surprise 5 year anniversary present. It was hard to keep him from wondering why had avoided for 2 weeks. When surprised him with this on our anniversary he went crazy and not the good way like I had thought he would. Had thought the same way friends at work thought that is what guy wouldn't love this kind of thing. But he went off and left house that night and has been staying at his brothers for last couple days. I so want to make things right love him so much but didn't think he would explode. I already have a tattoo on my ankle that he had always said was cute (had it before we married). Now want to undo this and show him that am very sorry about it. So if I remove the VCH now (its only about 2 weeks in) will it heal up? Also how painfull and how big of scar will be left by removing a new tattoo its only about 1 inch size.
