Biker with no insurance hit by car?

I was riding a bike accross an intersection, and it was yellow light. When I was close to the other end, it is red light. then a car is turning right, and hit me. I was having a swelling knee, some muscle pain, and some scratches. the police came later and stated it is mostly my fault. Now I am receiving an letter from his insurance company, asking if I have any insurance. I am not sure what I should do. will I be asking to pay for his expense? I am still a student in school with loan, and get no extra money. What should I do? thanks for any help.
